Case Study:
Create an engaging, interactive web-based app designed to support teachers in delivering the Psychology Canada Stress Lesson curriculum effectively. The app should enhance the learning experience, making it easier for teachers to engage students and promote active participation.
My Approach:
Made the app truly engaging and interactive so that we could integrate elements like multimedia lessons and interactive quizzes that align with the Stress Lesson curriculum. In phase 2, we will be adding teacher resources like lesson tracking, progress reports, and tools for collaborative student projects. Ensuring the app is user-friendly for both
tech-savvy and less-experienced teachers will be key to its success. I also included an introductory/welcome video.

Case Study:
Designing a Cross-Platform Integrated DJ Interfacefor Spotify. The goal was to create a Spotify-specific DJ interface that eliminates the need for third-party applications by seamlessly integrating with the Spotify ecosystem. This solution would offer a streamlined DJ experience across desktop, mobile, and tablet platforms as an optional add-on service for Spotify users at an additional monthly fee.
My Approach:
The key challenge was to design an intuitive DJ interface for users of all skill levels, while maintaining seamless functionality across desktop, mobile, and tablet platforms. We needed to integrate Spotify’s music library and features without overwhelming casual listeners, while differentiating the DJ toolset for mixing, playlists, and transitions.
To address these challenges, we conducted user research through interviews and surveys with DJs, and created wireframes and prototypes to ensure ease of use across all devices. A cohesive design system was developed, blending Spotify’s brand with new DJ-specific functionality. After several rounds of usability testing and iteration,
the final product provided DJs with a
robust toolset within Spotify, allowing for track mixing, setlist creation, and live sessions, with consistent performance
across platforms.
